Im doin the blogging deal now

So this is my very first post on my very new blog! YAY! This is just going to be a place where I talk about the life I live, all the exciting things that happen and all the trouble I get in. There will be venting, there will be fashion talk, there will be pictures :) Get ready for the adventures of nicki...double the life, double the trouble!

First, ill start off with a little bit about myself. I’m sure many people reading this have no idea who I really am and what I do. So here’s your 411 on ME :)

I originally was born in LA, California but moved with my family when I was about 6 or 7 to Oregon. While I completely love Oregon and its beauty, ill always be a girl at heart. I grew up wanting to model, but was never confident in myself to try. Being a shorty didn't help because I thought there was no hope! Over the years I started to build myself up and grew increasingly more confident in myself. Now I can truly say I love every single thing about myself (yes there are things I work on, but overall I’m in love with myself hehe) Well I saw a friend from high school get started on modeling and one day it clicked for me, if she can do it, I can do it! And here I am now, modeling and creating art in the most powerful way for myself. I love every single aspect of the industry and can't wait to continue whether that be a model, a make up artist or a photographer!

Now to the reasoning behind my blog name (double the life, double the trouble). I constantly feel like I live a double life. One is so very mundane and "normal", while the other is so very exciting and some would even consider scandalous. I consider this my double life because not everyone in my normal life knows about my other side. I am very careful with who I share my modeling work with because of the nature of some of the work. My very normal life includes working as a secretary for a steel fabrication company. I really do love my job (..for the most part) and I know everyone loves and appreciates the work I do here. I go to school full time studying business. I hang out with friends and family. See very normal, very blah most of the time. My other life is pretty adventurous, which is the modeling aspect of it. I do nude work which some people consider scandalous or trashy..I call it art (the stuff I do I consider art, none of that porno stuff). Nothing is more exhilarating than getting in front of someone (someone you may not know well or at all) and getting down to your birthday suit!!!
